This week, we introduced the new GVS oil-sealed rotary screw vacuum system—our first packaged vacuum system for “rough vacuum” operations between 29.9 in-HgV and 15 in-HgV. Borrowing from our compressor business, the new GVS features an integrated screw element known for its reliable performance at the lowest energy cost.
The GVS delivers capacities between 365 to 3,000 cfm, making it ideal for applications in the electronics, woodworking, bottling and canning, packaging, printing and plastics industries. It is fitted with a modulating valve at the pump inlet, allowing capacity to match demand, while minimizing vacuum-level fluctuations and operating at the lowest possible energy point.
Because of its quiet operation, the GVS can be installed near the point of use, or alternately, as part of a centralized vacuum system in a dedicated utility room. And because of its operation capacity, it is a great choice for facilities that are looking to replace multiple remote vacuum pumps with a centralized system, a move that can also help plants achieve significant energy and maintenance savings.
