In a little more than two weeks, Atlas Copco Group will kick off a year-long celebration to mark the company’s 140th anniversary by ringing the opening bell at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York’s Times Square. CEO Ronnie Leten will be accompanied at the bell ringing by Maureen Ellis, an employee celebrating more than 40 years with Atlas Copco in the United States, select customers and other company management and stakeholders.
From its roots in Sweden as a manufacturer of railroad rolling stock to its current position as a world-leading supplier of compressed air solutions, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems, Atlas Copco has been innovating throughout its history. And while much has changed since 1873, Atlas Copco remains committed to developing leading-edge technology and taking care of its customers.
As the official blog of Atlas Copco Compressors, we’ll be joining in on the celebrations as well. Throughout the year, we will feature employee and customer stories, product innovations and our favorite moments from 140 years of innovation and 60 years in the U.S.
Celebrate with us. Tune in on February 21 at 9:15 a.m. to view the NASDAQ opening bell ceremony live on www.nasdaq.com
