This week, we’re in Washington, D.C. for the World Energy Engineering Conference (WEEC) – recognized as the most important international event for energy professionals. With energy consumption typically representing 80 percent of the overall cost of a compressed air installation, it’s important for industries that use compressed air to invest in technologies that help reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency.

We’ll be showcasing our SmartLink remote monitoring technology and Energy Recovery units at booth No. 901 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. Representatives will be available to discuss best practices for saving energy and increasing the efficiency of a compressed air system with the following technologies.

SmartLink Data Monitoring

Easy to install, user-friendly and customizable, SmartLink increases connectivity between our service technicians and your compressed air system with advanced 24/7 data monitoring. When integrated with the Elektronikon controller, SmartLink provides access to a web-based monitoring dashboard that alerts both Atlas Copco and our customers to the information they need to save energy and reduce downtime.

Use Your Energy Twice with Energy Recovery

Did you know, by using energy recovered from heat, manufacturers can save typically 95 percent of the original electrical input energy used to power an air compressor? Energy recovery is an innovative way to capitalize on the heat by-product of air compression while defraying the costs of other necessary processes.
