In less than two weeks, nearly 2,000 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors from 112 countries around the world will descend on McCormick Place in Chicago for the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2014. We’ll be showcasing four energy efficient and reliable product ranges that are critical to a variety of industrial manufacturing applications.

The Atlas Copco booth, No. E-5672, will be located in the east building of McCormick Place. Representatives will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to discuss the features and benefits of the following products:

  • GA 7-15 VSD+ range of oil-injected rotary screw compressors reduce energy consumption by up to 50 percent compared to a traditional load/unload compressor of the same type
  • ZT 15-22 range of oil-free rotary tooth compressorscomply with ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0 (2010) certification to deliver 100% pure, clean air, suitable for applications demanding the highest levels of purity, such as automotive, machining and critical electronics manufacturing
  • GV 20-300 range of oil-sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps deliver a clean and efficient supply of vacuum and feature plug-and-play installation, low maintenance design and low noise and vibration levels throughout the pressure range

To deliver compressed air, vacuum or Nitrogen gas to the end process, a manufacturing facility requires a network of piping. Atlas Copco’s lightweight AIRnet aluminum compressed air piping resists corrosion, minimizes pressure drops and installs quickly and easily. In fact, the installation of AIRnet piping can be completed 70 percent faster than the installation of a conventional piping configuration.

Will you be there?

In order to remain competitive in a global marketplace, manufacturing facilities must work smarter and invest in technologies that reduce energy consumption, decrease maintenance costs and deliver reliable compressed air or vacuum to the end process. Stop by the Atlas Copco booth, No. E-5672 located in the east building, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sep 8-13 to learn more about Atlas Copco’s wide range of innovative, energy efficient and reliable products for the manufacturing industry.
