Atlas Copco to Attend International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta

/

In the woodworking industry, vacuum is critical to the processing and handling of wood in the workshop. Vacuum is also used in degassing and drying processes; to hold, lift and clamp pieces of wood; for the removal of dust and wood shavings created during the woodworking process; and for vacuum bagging during finishing processes such as coating, bonding and veneering.

To showcase our range of reliable and efficient technology for the woodworking industry, we’ll be attending the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) 2014 in Atlanta from Aug. 20-23. Atlas Copco has been serving the Atlanta region for 64 years and we’re excited to showcase our full portfolio of offerings to woodworking industry members from both the southeast U.S. and all over the world. And, to celebrate our long tenure in Atlanta, we’ll be giving away a pair of baseball tickets at the end of each day.

The Atlas Copco exhibit will be located at booth No. 7423. Stop by to enter the raffle and learn more about our vacuum and compressed air solutions for the woodworking industry.

Vacuum Solutions for Woodworking

Our highly reliable GV range of oil-sealed rotary vane and rotary screw vacuum pumps deliver a clean and efficient supply of vacuum and feature a plug-and-play installation, low maintenance design and low noise and vibration levels throughout the pressure range.

Compressed Air Solutions for Woodworking

Compressed air is also an important aspect of the woodworking industry and we offer a wide range of energy efficient compressed air solutions. The innovative GA VSD+ range reduces energy consumption by up to 50 percent compared to a traditional load/unload compressor of the same type. It also features a compact footprint and low noise levels, making it possible to install the compressor directly on the workshop floor. The reliable GX series also offers low energy consumption, easy maintenance and flexible installation at the point of use.
