From May 7-11, Atlas Copco will be heading to the Sunshine State for NPE2018: The Plastics Show in Orlando. Attendees are invited to stop by booth S35207 to learn more about state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for the plastics industry, including the GA VSD+ air compressor, GHS VSD+ vacuum pump, DZS 150V vacuum pump and the GVS 60A vacuum pump.
GA VSD+ air compressor
The GA VSD+ helps users reduce energy consumption by up to 50 percent using its Variable Speed Drive (VSD) technology that adjusts the compressor’s motor speed to match the compressed air supply with demand. On top of its energy savings, the GA VSD+ realizes a Free Air Delivery increase of up to 12 percent for improved efficiency and performance.
GHS VSD+ vacuum pump
Unlike conventional oil-sealed and dry vane vacuum pumps, the GHS VSD+ is much quieter and easy to install with plug-and-play installation. All pumps come equipped with Elektronikon controllers that can be integrated into a process control system for remote monitoring. Users can easily connect the controllers with their mobile devices through the Atlas Copco SMARTLINK system for access to machine data anytime, anywhere. Similar to the GA VSD+ compressor, these vacuum pumps also utilize VSD technology for energy savings up to 50 percent.
DZS 150V vacuum pump
The DZS 150V incorporates an innovative modular, easy-clean design to establish a new benchmark in dry claw vacuum pump simplicity, robustness, efficiency and contaminant handling capacity. The pump’s separation of the pumping chamber from the gearbox allows for easy access in the removal, cleaning and re-assembly of the stainless steel claws, while eliminating the need to strip and re-time gears after cleaning. The isolation of the gearbox also minimizes the risk of contamination from process gearbox oil that can be common with traditional pump technologies.
GVS 60A vacuum pump
With high oil retention levels at all operating pressures, the GVS 60A ensures reliability for a wide range of industrial applications. The GVS A series operates with internal injection channels, reducing the number of gaskets and external piping required. With fewer components and a compact design, the risk of leakage and failures is significantly minimized.
