On Feb. 22, Atlas Copco celebrated the grand opening of its new offices in Rock Hill, S.C. The revitalized, five-story Lowenstein building is in the heart of the city’s University Center at Knowledge Park where new offices, restaurants, retail stores and residential spaces will soon open.

Atlas Copco is excited to have almost 150 employees from Atlas Copco Compressors, Chicago Pneumatic Compressors and Pneumatech, Inc. in the new 38,000 square foot space on the first and fifth floor. The office features training rooms on the first floor and open offices on the fifth floor that are designed to foster collaboration, spark innovation and take advantage of the building’s natural light from the long wall of windows and high ceilings.

University Center at Knowledge Park will connect downtown Rock Hill with Winthrop University, which gives Atlas Copco the chance to build relationships with individuals looking to enter the manufacturing and engineering industry.

Atlas Copco has continued to invest in the greater Charlotte community since it expanded to Rock Hill 20 years ago. The team looks forward to settling into the Lowenstein offices!
