The 2014 International Powder & Bulk Solids Conference (PTXi) is an annual event that showcases the latest industry innovations in dry processing, bulk material handling, storage and particle technology. It is fitting, then, that Atlas Copco should showcase two innovative and energy efficient product ranges at booth No. 1445 from May 6-8 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.

Products on display include the 7-37 kW (10-50 hp) GA VSD+ range of oil-injected rotary screw compressors. If you are planning on attending PTXi, stop by our exhibit to learn how the GA VSD+ can:

  • Reduce energy consumption by up to 50 percent;
  • Save valuable square footage with a compact design;
  • Reduce noise levels significantly; and
  • Increase free air delivery.

Also on display, the ZS+ VSD series of oil-free screw blowers reduces energy consumption by up to 30 percent and is certified according to ISO 8573-1 CLASS 0 (2010) standards to provide 100 percent oil-free air, eliminating the risk of oil contamination within the manufacturing process. Atlas Copco was the first manufacturer in the world to receive the CLASS 0 certification on an oil-free compressor. That means you can have peace of mind knowing you have eliminated the risk of contamination, operational downtime if contamination should occur, costly recalls and a potentially damaged reputation.

Both products are representative of Atlas Copco’s drive for innovation and feature the latest technology to increase energy efficiency significantly. With the constant rise in energy costs, increasing energy savings has never been more important.

Stop by booth No. 1445 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 6-7 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 8 to learn more about our innovative and energy efficient products on display. Not attending PTXi this year? Contact us or leave a comment below.
