AWFS 2017: What Happens in Vegas…

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But should it always? Sure, you probably shouldn’t get a drive-thru marriage and most people don’t want to see your Elvis costume. On the other hand, what you learn at the Association of Woodworking and Furnishing Suppliers (AWFS) Fair in Las Vegas should definitely not stay behind.

From July 19-22, more than 15,000 people from across the globe will attend the show to learn about the latest technologies and trends in the woodworking world. Atlas Copco will exhibit at booth No. 10042, showcasing the DZS dry claw vacuum pump, GA VSD+ compressor, and the GHS VSD+ vacuum pump.

The DZS claw vacuum pump is ideal for process applications, including woodworking. Because the pumping chamber and gear-box are housed separately, the risk of contamination from process or gear-box oil is eliminated. Variable speed drive technology provides smooth, dependable flow across speed ranges along with energy savings of up to 50 percent. Its patented cooling design allows heat to dissipate quickly and quietly.

The GA VSD+ air compressor contains a permanent magnet motor, patented compression element and a sentinel valve that creates unrivaled energy efficiency; with the GA VSD+, users get nine percent more air while using nine percent less energy, compared to original GA VSD series. Quality air treatment components as well as an Elektronikon controller mean easy maintenance and maximum uptime for users.

Unlike other rough vacuum pumps, the GHS VSD+ is energy efficient, consuming only 50 percent of a typical vacuum pump while increasing production speed by up to 10 percent. It is also silent with low life-cycle costs and a user-friendly interface, making it a superior alternative to traditional oil-injected vane pumps.

We’re excited to see you there! Still haven’t signed up? You can register here until Friday, July 14th. Stay up-to-date on all of Atlas Copco Compressor’s news by subscribing to our weekly newsletter.
