After years of testing and development, Atlas Copco will soon begin production of the MDG rotary drum dryer. Unlike other dryers in the industry, the revolutionary technology guarantees a stable pressure dew point (PDP) of -40°F at almost zero energy cost.

Designed for increased efficiency, MDG air dryers have a total power consumption below 0.2 kW in all operational conditions. Its simplified design features no heating elements, no blower and no loss of compressed air. With fewer moving parts, the dryers require less maintenance and prove to be more reliable than other dryers with -40°F PDP performance.

“With the MDG dryers we now can provide the ultimate energy-efficient solution for customers who are looking for high quality of compressed air and who are interested in the lowest total cost of ownership,” said Philip Ernens, president of the Atlas Copco Oil-free Air division.
