Introducing the CR range of cast-iron piston compressors, the newest compressors to join our oil-injected compressor portfolio! This series combines the recognized durability of reciprocating compressors with Atlas Copco’s innate dedication to reliability – and a full cast-iron design. The CR range has 3 tiers: Contractor, Professional, and Industrial.

  • Contractor. The most economic of the three tiers, the Contractor series includes the smaller CR models, specifically those from 2-14HP. These are extremely light and portable, which means they're ideal for applications that require compressors that are more mobile than stationary. The Contractor range contains both gas and electric-powered options.
  • Professional. The Professional series includes our heavy-duty 5-20HP compressors. As with the Contractor series, the Professional is either electric or gas-powered, and contains a variety of options not incorporated with the Contractor. Additional available features include a TEFC motor, a NEMA4 control panel, and pressure lubricated models.
  • Industrial. As the premier tier of the CR range, the Industrial series includes all of the bells and whistles! These come equipped with a belt guard aftercooler, a low oil-level switch, and an electronic drain – all as standard options – and are electric units. The 10HP & 15HP models also include head unloaders.

Each tier has been custom-tailored to complement a variety of industries, but all are especially suited for demanding automotive, industrial, and light manufacturing processes.
