People Really Do Win

How many contest entries have you filled out, skeptical that anyone ever really won an exotic vacation for correctly guessing the number of jelly beans in a Mason jar or some other off-the-wall challenge? This year at SEMA, we hosted a contest too. We even had a winner in ours.

And if you don’t believe us (and really, why shouldn’t you?), just ask Brian Paul, a differential assembly mechanic at Quick Performance in Ames, Iowa. A team from Quality Performance goes to SEMA each year but this was Brian’s first time at the show. He stopped by our booth in the North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the first of four long days and designed his own compressor in our virtual compressor studio. By doing so, he entered himself to win a KT HP piston compressor. And guess what? Brian won. You can check out our Facebook page for entries from Brian and others who stopped to see us.

“It was overwhelming, there were so many booths,” he said of his first SEMA experience. “We walked for four days and still didn’t see it all.”

It was an overwhelming experience by a number of accounts. The foot traffic was great and the crowds, once again, were incredible. We hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did. If you didn’t get a chance to see us, you can take a quick, one-minute tour of our booth here.
