As the official blog of Atlas Copco Compressors USA, we would be remiss if we started celebrating Atlas Copco’s 140th anniversary without mentioning our history of growth in the United States.
Decades ago, customers in the U.S. may not have been as aware of the Atlas Copco brand, but by investing in partnerships with regional distributors, in product innovation based on customer needs and in distribution centers, original parts facilities and compressor manufacturing plants, the U.S. is now the company’s single largest market with revenues at $2.8 billion (USD) in 2012.
But we know that business growth and expansion in the U.S. could not have been achieved without our customers. That’s why we’ve constantly sought feedback from the market and set out to make changes and investments in how we operate in order to serve our customers better.
It’s simple. Our number one goal is to take the best possible care of our customers. And with approximately 4,600 employees in 109 locations, we hope we’re doing a good job serving you.
