Atlas Copco Speaker Featured on Expert Webinar Series

/

Centralized vacuum systems are a boon to many industrial applications. This month, Blower and Vacuum Best Practices’ Expert Webinar Series focuses on the design, optimization and benefits of a centralized vacuum system. The webinar will take place on June 29 at 2 p.m. ET.

Keynote speaker Tim Dugan, P.E., president and principal engineer of Compression Engineering Corporation to explore why plants should adopt a central vacuum system. But it’s not always a clear choice Dugan will also review how to analyze whether or not improvements in vacuum system efficiency and reliability are achievable through centralization.

Atlas Copco’s Greg Marciniak, product marketing manager for the Industrial Vacuum Division, will take a look at how system to optimize vacuum pressure using Boyle’s Law and how that impacts set point controls. Marciniak will also examine how centralized vacuum systems with variable speed drive (VSD) can reduce energy consumption and help plants save money.

VJ Gupta, systems engineering manager for Busch Vacuum Pumps and Systems, will explain how to design and optimize a centralized vacuum system. The presentation will highlight proven best practices of controls integration, operating logic and speed modulation when designing centralized vacuum systems. Gupta will demonstrate how application-specific design leads to the most efficient equipment.

The free webinar takes place on June 29 at 2 p.m. ET and will feature a question and answer session after the presentations. Don’t miss it! Learn more and reserve your spot today. Stay up to date on Atlas Copco news and events by signing up for our weekly newsletter.
